Novel-Russian Revolution

Summer 1918. In Europe, the Great War lurches along. In Russia there is revolution.

After three years of service on the Eastern Front, Russian nurse, Irina Petrovna, has embraced the separate peace the Bolsheviks have made with Germany. But this respite is cut short by an Allied invasion determined to install a pro- western government in Irina’s home city of Archangel, a port on Russia’s White Sea.

Among the Allied troops that put to shore is American Lieutenant, John Banion. Led to believe they will be securing the strategically important city, but having been placed under British command, the Americans soon find themselves charging alongside saber yielding Cossacks as they begin to liberate Bolshevik held territory.

From savage battles deep in the Russian wilderness, to the treacherous streets of an icebound city, ideals will be tested as the paths of Irina and Lieutenant Banion converge in that precarious world between duty and desire.
